  • This was a phenomenal show! I wish I had learned about Fr. Sirico early on in my life as a Catholic, as this would have prevented a lot of confusion as to what the Catholic Church REALLY teaches on the role of the laity and government with regards to our obligation to the poor. Thank you for introducing and clarifying the principle of Subsidiarity, which I never heard in all my years as a Catholic. It just goes to show that something written in 1891 can long be forgotten, either inconveniently or by design…
