I guess the question should be answered from this perspective: You are the business owner and have policies and proceedures in place. How long would you tolerate an employee making changes in those policies and proceedures based on their own view - or a customer’s view - of what is and is not correct? About a New York second, Seth, about a New York second.
I think the original poster may have had a communications problem with the bakery person, but, until we have her side of the story, we will never know what was or was not the situation from that side of the counter.
