Defending the Free Market: The Moral Case for a Free Economy

Father Sirico argues that a free economy actually promotes charity, selflessness, and kindness, and why free-market capitalism is not only the best way to ensure individual success and national prosperity but is also the surest route to a moral and socially-just society.

The SCOTUS decision is also a strong victory for individual freedom as well as religious freedom. Lets not forget that there are many libertines and atheists have moraland political objections to paying part of their income (either through taxation or health care plans) for someone elses demands. Contraception and abortion is readily and legally available to anyone. The progressive left have gone too far when their demands must be met and paid for by everyone but themselves.
