Ken Marotte

Ken joined Acton in March 2010 to help facilitate foundation and corporate giving. In addition to writing proposals and reports and managing a deadline-intensive portfolio system, Ken plays a central role in developing appeals and updates for Acton’s individual donors. Ken earned a B.A. in political science from Georgetown College (Ky.) and an M.A. in East Asian Studies from The Ohio State University, where he was also awarded the Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowship. He is an adjunct lecturer at Aquinas College, offering courses on Asian history. He is an elder at his church, a board member of the local Ohio State alumni club, and a member of the local Sister Cities committee for Omihachiman, Japan.
