Samuel Ng is a member of the Acton Institute’s 2021 Emerging Leaders class. He is a rising senior at The University of Texas at Austin majoring in liberal arts and economics. Apart from studying the moral foundations of a free economy, his interests include Thomistic philosophy and the liturgical traditions of the Catholic Church.

Freedom of expression is under attack in Hong Kong. In its annual report, “Freedom in Tatters,” the Hong Kong Journalists Association (HKJA) outlines key threats currently faced by the media.
